Employee of the Quarter: Mark Weiner
Mark Weiner has been with the firm for nearly five years and brings close to three decades of experience in finance. He began his career in valuation and management consulting for a Big Five firm in Manhattan before spending many years in corporate finance. When the opportunity came to join the TBG team, it felt like the right fit, and he has not looked back since.
What Mark enjoys most about working here is the variety of work. He values being involved in a wide range of planning and M&A engagements and especially enjoys building customized models and exhibits that help clients make confident, informed decisions.
Outside of work, Mark is the proud father of a six-year-old son who keeps him busy and grounded.
Mark graduated with honors from Rutgers University with degrees in Finance and History. He also holds a CPCU designation along with Series 7, 66, and 24 FINRA licenses.
When asked what advice he would give clients, Mark shares a practical perspective: “Many privately held companies are led by entrepreneurs who know their industries extremely well and assume they can manage a sales process on their own. In reality, having professional guidance will almost always lead to higher deal values and better terms, even after fees.”
Mark also takes a lot of pride in the work being done at TBG. He finds real satisfaction in helping companies plan for succession and guiding organizations through buy and sell transitions. Helping families achieve long-term goals and preserve wealth for future generations is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.
Our CEO, Ted, adds, “Mark brings a depth of experience and a thoughtful approach to everything he does. He has a strong ability to guide clients through complex decisions and consistently delivers meaningful results. We are proud to have him on the team and to recognize him as our Employee of the Quarter.”
