Barry Levin has been an integral part of The Beringer Group family and its predecessors since 1988 and currently serves as TBG’s legal counsel. For Barry, the essence of his work lies in his interactions with clients, whom he deeply values supporting and advising on their unique journeys. Barry's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. Barry has been happily married to his wife, Gail, for fifty-one years. Together, they have raised two daughters and enjoy the company of their six grandchildren.

Reflecting on his extensive experience, Barry's advice to both current and prospective clients is clear: embrace change. He emphasizes the importance of not letting plans stagnate, stating, “Your world is always changing; don't let your plan collect dust and assume it applies forever.” Barry strongly believes it's crucial for people to recognize the significance of continuously evolving plans to adapt to life's ever-shifting landscape.

Our CEO, Ted, holds Barry in high regard, acknowledging his significant impact on The Beringer Group's success. To Ted, Barry is a tremendous resource as our legal counsel, able to help families on very complex tax issues. Beyond his legal expertise, Barry has been an exceptional business resource on family dynamics and family conflict. His insights and dedication have been instrumental in our achievements.
