This past April, Chris Beringer and Brad Williams of The Beringer Group, one of the top wealth management firms in the country, served as two of the “sharks” in the Shanahan Tank Challenge, a student business competition at Bishop Shanahan High School in Downington, PA inspired by the popular television program ‘The Shark Tank.’

Participating students generated an original idea, wrote a business plan, and presented their plan to the “sharks” who asked questions and offered advice.

Bob Seefeldt, assistant principal of Bishop Shanahan High School, also served as a “shark.”

“The Beringer Group was proud to participate in the Shanahan High School Shark Tank event,” said Chris Beringer, president of the Beringer Group.  “The competition was fierce, and all the plans were well thought out.  We congratulate the winners.”

The winning group’s idea was ‘Breathe Easy Boxes’, a subscription service providing relaxation items.   You can view the winning business plan here.

“It was a rewarding experience for all involved”  said Beringer.  “We commend Bishop Shanahan High School’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in the next generation.”
